How a WhatsApp link works

A wa.me link opens a chat with your business number in WhatsApp, on mobile or desktop, with your message already typed. Customers only press send. Use it on your website, Instagram bio, Google Business Profile, emails and click-to-chat ads.

Use the full international number, without a plus sign or leading zero. For the UAE that is 971 followed by the mobile number.
Keep the pre-filled message short and specific, for example the product or offer the customer saw.
Use a WhatsApp Business account so you can add quick replies, labels and an away message.

Use a different pre-filled message for each campaign, such as "Hi, I saw your Ramadan offer". You will see which campaign started each conversation without any extra tracking.
